Home buyers and sellers who visit Windermere.com now can search for home listings using a new tool that displays listings using map coordinates and visual landmarks, the company said today. PropertyPoint enables home shoppers to "click and zoom" to identify listings in a favorite region, neighborhood or one single block. Users also can take a virtual drive through selected search areas and view homes that match their personal criteria on a map. This map can then be zoomed in and out to reveal identifiable landmarks, bodies of water and even parks and schools in close proximity to a particular home. "Using Windermere's PropertyPoint map search is like taking a virtual drive through the neighborhood," Windermere VP of Technology Michael Rahmn said.
