Spaulding & Slye Colliers has negotiated the lease and sale of 1000-1200 Technology Park Drive, a 139,180-square-foot office and showrooms building in Billerica, Mass.

The Gift & Decorative Accessories Center Association, an organization of manufacturers’ sales agencies, leased the two-story facility as its new permanent headquarters.

Spaulding & Slye Colliers Principal Tamie R. Thompson and SVP Curtis P. Oberg  negotiated the lease on behalf of the former owner, Archon Atlantic. Spaulding & Slye Colliers SVPs Philip DeSimone and Daniel Cordeau represented The Gift Center.

Archon Atlantic then sold the property to New Boston Fund for $10.5 million. Spaulding & Slye Colliers Principal Michael G. Smith represented the seller and introduced the buyer in the transaction.

Spaulding & Slye Construction is completing the interior construction for all 50 showroom spaces. The architect for the build-out is Marguiles & Associates.

The buildout consists of the demolition and re-construction of the entire two-story interior. The new space will feature 65 individual display showroom suites, each with a glass wall and sliding door system, carpet, lights and ceilings.

1000-1200 Technology Park Drive is located directly off of Route 3 in Concord Road Technology Park. Building amenities include a cafeteria with a kitchen.
