Overnight real estate rates inch lower

30-year down at 5.35%; 10-year Treasury down at 4.21%

Long-term mortgage interest rates were lower Monday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield dipped to 4.21 percent.

The 30-year fixed-rate average slipped to 5.35 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate fell to 4.77 percent. The 1-year adjustable was down at 3.45 percent.

The 30-year Treasury bond yield sank to 4.81 percent.
