Overnight real estate rates fall further

30-year down at 5.33%; 10-year Treasury up at 4.28%

Long-term mortgage interest rates were lower Tuesday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield climbed to 4.28 percent.

The 30-year fixed-rate average slipped to 5.33 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate fell to 4.76 percent. The 1-year adjustable was up at 3.46 percent.

The 30-year Treasury bond yield increased to 4.88 percent.
