Real estate technology companies merge

Borran Software purchases Pocket Real Estate

A real estate software company has purchased Pocket Real Estate, a company that offers search capability of MLS property information through mobile phones and hand-held computers, company officials announced this week.   Borran Software, a developer of real estate transaction management systems, announced that it will focus on three products as a result of the merger: Pocket Real Estate; Borran Connect!, an online office information management system that integrates sales functions, contracts and transactions, listing management, scheduling and communications with back-office accounting and administration; and RealBroker, a real estate accounting system that handles sales transactions and financial reports, among other functions.   The two companies started discussions mid-2005.
