Overnight real estate rates up

30-year fixed rate at 6.15%; 10-year Treasury yield at 5.11%

Long-term mortgage interest rates moved higher Tuesday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield slipped to 5.11 percent. The 30-year fixed-rate average gained to 6.15 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate inched up to 5.82 percent. The 1-year adjustable held at 5.25 percent. The 30-year Treasury bond yield sank to 5.21 percent. Rates are current as of 7:15 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
