Office space changes hands in Honolulu

Shidler Group purchases ANA Kalakaua Center

The Shidler Group has purchased the ANA Kalakaua Center in Honolulu, the commercial real estate company announced this week. ANA Kalakaua Center is a 151,842-square-foot, nine-story class A office building with ground floor retail located at 2155 Kalakaua Avenue at the entrance to Waikiki. The total purchase consideration was approximately $30 million. The seller is ANA Real Estate Hawaii, Inc., a subsidiary of All Nippon Airways of Japan. The complex was 98 percent occupied at the time of sale and houses 38 tenants, including Planet Hollywood, JTB Hawaii, Aston Hotels & Resorts, and Starwood Hotels.
