More than 145,000 square feet of industrial and R&D space recently changed hands in California deals brokered by NAI BT Commercial, the company announced this week. In the first deal, Gee-Aspora LLC sold the Alameda Technology Center in Alameda, which is located at 1275 Harbor Bay Parkway. The buyer, Ellis Partners, acquired the three-building, 70,070-square-foot research and development project for an undisclosed price. At the time of sale, the property housed the corporate headquarters of UTStarcom Inc., a manufacturer and seller of wireless telecommunications products. In the second transaction, a private investor purchased a 75,000-square-foot industrial building in Bakersfield for a price of approximately $5.4 million. The property, located at 2201 E.
