Terranomics Retail Services recently negotiated the leasing of two retail centers in Newark and Sacramento, Calif., for an undisclosed price. In the first deal, Mervyn's signed a long-term lease for an 82,000-square-foot retail building in Newark that is currently undergoing a major redevelopment. Mervyn's will be relocating from its existing site across the street at the Newpark Mall into the brand-new building on Mowry Avenue in the summer of 2008. The landlord is Toyama Partners. In the second transaction, Cycle Gear Inc., which sells motorcycle parts, apparel and accessories, leased a 26,000-square-foot retail anchor site in Sacramento.
