A former Bug Realty franchise in San Francisco has rebranded as Real Estate. Kirk Gregor, broker-principal, and Chris Siow, owner, decided to break free of the franchise two months ago to be out on their own. They chose their new name, , a code in programming language, to highlight their emphasis on technology. The brokerage company is keeping its iconic Volkswagen Beetles (Bug Realty's Beetles feature a ladybug motif: see article), but they now carry the new company's logo. has also added two Mini Coopers to its fleet, for a total of seven cars.The rebranded brokerage has plans to open a second office in Oakland, Calif., this month.
