A deal with real estate tech firm Systems Engineering Inc. (SEI) could boost the number of multiple listing services sending listings to Move Inc. subsidiary ListHub by 130 — nearly a third of its current customer base.

ListHub counts 465 MLSs as customers. The broker members of those MLSs can syndicate to any website in ListHub’s network of more than 60 national real estate portals, including Zillow, Trulia and Move-operated realtor.com.

Some brokers and MLSs are leaning towards feeding their listings directly to portals — circumventing ListHub — because they believe it would improve the accuracy and timeliness of listings on those sites. But ListHub notes that its customer base has grown by 31 MLSs so far this year and could swell considerably as SEI makes ListHub available to its 130 Navica MLS system clients nationwide.

“We are thrilled to offer our MLS customers ListHub’s comprehensive syndication tool set, and we feel confident knowing that our customers’ listing information will be distributed under the most stringent data protections in the industry,” said Paula Payne, president of SEI, in a statement.

“ListHub shares our commitment to listing data accuracy, and the protection of brokers’ valuable listing content.”

SEI has been providing its own listing syndication service to its MLS customers, but will phase the service out over the next year. SEI chose to partner with ListHub in order to increase the number of websites available to MLS customers for syndication and to offer brokers more tools to manage their listing advertising online, according to an announcement.

In addition to listing syndication, the deal gives SEI’s MLS customers the option to provide ListHub’s online marketing reports to their broker and agent members and, if they have a public MLS website, to integrate the traffic metrics from that site into the marketing reports. The Ithaca Board of Realtors was the first to take advantage of that opportunity, ListHub said.

“We are excited to have the ability to demonstrate the consumer traffic on our public site to our association members,” said Norma Jayne, CEO of the Ithaca Board of Realtors, in a statement.

“It allows us to see what consumers are looking for and where they are looking. It’s a wonderful service to our brokers and agents, and gives them an easy way to share that value with their seller clients.”

The following 31 MLSs have signed agreements in 2014 to provide the ListHub platform to their members:
