Video marketing provider RealBiz Media Group Inc. has acquired ReachFactor Inc., a social media marketing platform for real estate agents, RealBiz announced today.
The acquisition gives RealBiz access to the 250,000 agents who have subscribed to ReachFactor’s marketing newsletter, offering the firm opportunity to advertise its services “directly to highly engaged real estate agents.” RealBiz plans to integrate ReachFactor’s marketing tools into its own suite of products.
RealBiz said the ReachFactor management team will take senior roles at RealBiz, and that ReachFactor co-founder Arun Srinivasan will take a seat on the company’s board of directors.
“We’re excited to combine our products and resources with RealBiz’s video marketing technologies to create one of the industry’s most comprehensive and affordable marketing solutions for real estate agents,” ReachFactor co-founder and CEO Suresh Srinivasan said in a statement.
The acquisition comes a few months after RealBiz’s video-centric listing site and agent directory, NestBuilder.com, debuted an agent-focused video product that offers agents access to its automatic video creation tool and a video-based profile on the site.
