Seattle-based Windermere Real Estate will expand its operations in Southern California in Los Angeles, Coachella Valley, Riverside and San Diego. To that end, Windermere has hired Mark Hughes as President of Windermere Services, Southern California.

Seattle-based Windermere Real Estate will expand its operations in Southern California in Los Angeles, Coachella Valley, Riverside and San Diego.

To that end, Windermere has hired Mark Hughes as President of Windermere Services, Southern California.

Hughes was previously COO at First Team Real Estate, the largest independent brokerage firm in California. He will manage development, operations, service activities and growth of the Windermere brand throughout his region, developing new franchises and new programs.

“There’s a lot of excitement about the Windermere brand in Southern California and an increasing amount of interest from companies about joining our team,” President of Windermere Real Estate, OB Jacobi, said in a statement. “Mark is just the person to lead our expansion in the region. He is a driven real estate professional who is very well respected within the industry. Mark also has an incredible instinct for marketing and business development that will be a great support to new and existing Windermere franchise owners in Southern California.”

Windermere also has offices in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Mexico.
