Atlanta Communities Real Estate Brokerage announced that chief information officer Tony Stephens has been promoted to chief operating officer. “Tony has been with Atlanta Communities since 2013. He is an essential part of the management structure that keeps our company growing and thriving on a day-to-day basis,” said owner and President Judson Adamson in a statement. “Promoting him to Chief Operating Officer will help with our continued expansion into the metro Atlanta real estate market.”
Waterton, a real estate investor and operator, promoted Lela Cirjakovic to executive vice president of operations, and also announced that Scott Ferguson joined the firm as assistant vice president of regional operations, overseeing Chicago and the western United States. “As we merge our multifamily and hospitality platforms and look to leverage synergies between the two, we’re simultaneously bringing on new talent and promoting from within to streamline operations and create a more cohesive brand across our entire portfolio,” said David Schwartz, co-founder and CEO of Waterton, in a statement. “With more than 30 years of experience between them, Lela and Scott understand the highly personalized, fully amenitized lifestyle that today’s renters are looking for — and, more importantly, how to deliver on those high expectations.”
