By Inman News, Wednesday, October 20, 2004. Long-term mortgage interest rates were slightly lower Wednesday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield dipped to 3.98 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average slipped to 5.27 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate fell to 4.68 percent. The 1-year adjustable was unchanged at 3.21 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield slipped to 4.77 percent.
