GMAC, which stands for General Motors Acceptance Corp., the auto giant's mortgage lending arm, had alleged LendingTree was attempting to trade on GMAC's reputation by using or appropriating GMAC's trademark as an Internet domain name. The 30-year fixed-rate average slipped to 5.95 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate decreased slightly to 5.32 percent. The 1-year adjustable was unchanged at 3.45 percent.
