By Inman News, Monday, January 24, 2005. Long-term mortgage interest rates were lower Friday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield sank to 4.14 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average dropped to 5.19 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate slipped to 4.7 percent. The 1-year adjustable was unchanged at 3.69 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield fell to 4.64 percent.
