By Inman News, Sunday, April 9, 2006. Long-term mortgage interest rates inched higher on Friday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield increased to 4.98 percent.
The 30-year fixed-rate average edged up to 6.03 percent, and the 15-year fixed-rate increased to 5.72 percent. The 1-year adjustable also increased to 5.12 percent.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield climbed to 5.05 percent.
