Foreign investor buys Millennium Plaza

Millennium Plaza, a 43,308-square-foot retail and office property in Weston, Fla., has sold for approximately $14.3 million.

Montreal, Canada-based DSN Holdings purchased the property from Hialeah, Fla.-based Alpha Millennium LLC.

Located at 2800 Weston Road, the property was fully leased at the time of sale to tenants that included Comerica Bank, Don Pan, Moon Thai and Prudential WCI. The property was built in 2002 on an approximately 4-acre lot.

Carr Properties expands near D.C.

Carr Properties added one more office property to its portfolio in the Washington, D.C., metro area with the recent purchase of Gatewood Plaza in Fairfax City, Va.

Carr paid $16.9 million for the 87,648-square-foot, class B office building located at 10201 Lee Highway. Built in 1985, the property was 90 percent leased at the time of sale.

Arnell Corp., an affiliate of the Polinger Co., sold the building.

Carr Properties also owns the neighboring Sherwood Plaza, a 92,960-square-foot, class B office building, according to a press statement.

Investcorp JV downsizes in NYC

A joint venture has sold a 17-story showroom/loft office building in New York City's Fashion District for an undisclosed price.

The property, located at 250 West 39th St., comprises 196,000 square feet of class B space.

Investcorp Real Estate Group and L&L Acquisitions, which purchased the property in April 2005, sold the building to a partnership between Lincoln Properties and the State of Illinois Pension System.  more...
