Hines builds California presence

International real estate firm Hines has acquired a portfolio of 15 projects containing 32 office buildings totaling approximately 2.5 million square feet, located in the Sacramento, Calif., metro area.

The portfolio was acquired from the Blackstone Group, which acquired these properties as part of its acquisition of Equity Office Properties earlier this year.  more...

1.2 million-square-foot Atlanta acquisition

A joint venture has sold Northmeadow Business Park in Roswell, Ga., for $93.5 million.

BPG Properties Ltd. acquired the 20-building office and flex park north of Atlanta, totaling 1.2 million square feet, from FirstCal Industrial 2, a joint venture between First Industrial Realty Trust Inc. and California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS).  more...

STAG Capital shops in Pennsylvania

STAG Capital Partners recently acquired 879,514 square feet of warehouse and office space in O'Hara Township, Pa., for an undisclosed amount.

The subject property, located on 33 acres, consists of 821,030 square feet of warehouse space and 58,484 square feet of two-story, fully air-conditioned office space. The property was leased to two tenants, Genco and American Beverage Corp., at the time of purchase.

Industrial Realty Group sold the property.
