DHL leases space near Houston airport

AMB Property Corp., a global developer and owner of industrial real estate, this week announced it leased a 175,000-square-foot build-to-suit facility in Houston, Texas, to DHL Global Forwarding.

The value of the transaction was not disclosed.

The facility, named AMB IAH Logistics Center II, is being developed proximate to Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) on land capable of supporting up to approximately 150,000 square feet of additional development. Lightstone Group adds 110,000 square feet

The Lightstone Group today announced it purchased a single-story, 110,499-square-foot office/warehouse building in Lakewood, N.J., for an undisclosed price.

Situated on 11 acres at 1985 Cedar Bridge Ave., the building will become the new home of The Lightstone Group's New Jersey Operations Support Center, including its commercial and residential property management, accounting, financial support and lease administration functions.  more...

Five Burlington Woods sold

Brokerage Jones Lang LaSalle has negotiated the sale of Five Burlington Woods, a 103,973-square-foot office building in Burlington, Mass., the company announced Tuesday.

New Boston Fund Inc., a real estate investment, development and management firm, sold the asset to ELV Associates Inc.

At the time of sale, the property was 94 percent occupied, with about half of the building leased by Fay, Spofford & Thorndike, an engineering and planning firm. Other tenants include Hollister Associates and Linear Properties.  more...
