The Los Angeles Times Media Group has joined a real estate auction venture that has a focus on selling bank-owned foreclosure properties and builder-owned properties.

Home inspection nightmare: Attic access denied

DEAR BARRY: When we bought our home, the sellers prevented our home inspector from inspecting the attic. They simply told him that there was no access, and he merely confirmed this in his inspection report. We later discovered that the access was on the wall of the master closet, behind some clothes. Our concern now is whether we have asbestos insulation in our attic. If so, are the sellers liable for asbestos removal? --Kim  more...

NAR: Resale home prices, sales fall

Point2 to syndicate Realcomp listings

Michigan's biggest multiple listing service, Realcomp, will send listings to syndicator Point2 Technologies Inc. when authorized by member brokers and agents, the companies said today.

Realcomp members will be able to send their listings to any or all of Point2's more than 30 listing syndication partners, including Cyberhomes, eBay, Google Base, Homescape, Point2 Homes, Trulia and Zillow.com.  more...
