Modifying option ARM a major headache

By Tara-Nicholle Nelson, Thursday, February 19, 2009.

Q: I have an option ARM mortgage and a home equity line of credit. Between the two, I owe about $300,000 more than my home is currently worth. Even so, I would still be willing to keep my home, and I have applied for a loan modification. However, it looks like the modified payment on my home will still be very high -- I can try to scrape to afford it, but if the economy and business gets any worse, I'll end up back in trouble. The landlord said she will have to pay rent until it is re-rented. What if it takes a long time and my daughter can't afford to pay? What can happen? --Diane N.  more...

Most adults and even children understand that it is wrong to steal. We don't take something that does not belong to us without asking permission or paying for it.

Plagiarism is theft. I find it amazing that so many real estate professionals steal. We are supposed to be held to a higher standard. Entire articles from this site are lifted and posted on blogs. The blogger usually gives attribution and links back to this site, but it is still plagiarism because so many words have been copied that they make up the majority of the post.  more...
