Texas' Denton Square sale completed

Commercial Property Services LLC sold a 125,225-square-foot shopping center in Denton, Texas, for an undisclosed price, brokerage Marcus & Millichap reported Monday.

Purchased by 717 Stemmons Partners L.P., Denton Square is situated on a 10-acre lot at 717 Stemmons Freeway. The property is comprised of one one-story building, one two-story strip building and one free-standing pad.  more...

Raleigh Enterprises adds 195,000 square feet in L.A.

Southern California-based Raleigh Enterprises purchased two industrial properties totaling 195,500 square feet of space in the Los Angeles area for just under $17.1 million.

According to brokerage Colliers International's announcement Monday, in the first transaction, Raleigh completed the purchase option of its 112,000-square-foot leased facility at 5945 Malt Ave., in the city of Commerce, for $9.2 million.  more...

Park Fletcher One, Two fetches secret price

Minneapolis-based Dougherty Commercial Properties made its entrance into the Indianapolis market with the purchase of Park Fletcher One and Two, brokerage CB Richard Ellis announced Monday.

The two multilevel office buildings, sold by Premier Equities, total 161,937 square feet and are located in the heart of the Indianapolis International Airport corridor.

At the time of purchase, the buildings were 88 percent leased, according to a press statement.  more...

Home construction spending falls in February

The spending rate for residential construction projects dropped for the 24th consecutive month in February and has fallen 34.4 percent from its peak of $696 million in February 2006, the U.S. Census Bureau announced today.  more...

Nightly real estate rates lower

Long-term mortgage interest rates came down Monday, and the benchmark 10-year Treasury bond yield fell to 3.41 percent.

The 30-year fixed-rate average sank to 5.67 percent, and the 15-year fixed rate dipped to 5.19 percent. The 1-year adjustable rate, however, jumped to 5.52 percent.

The 30-year Treasury bond yield was down at 4.29 percent.
