Blogs, Real Estate, and Philanthropy

2006 was the year that Cyberspace took center stage in real estate philanthropy. Master Certified Coach and Certified e-PRO Trainer Joeann Fossland assembled a cadre of real estate pros and bloggers to raise money for CARE through the Web Women Giving Circle. Fossland took a month-long Coachedelic Tour of the Blogosphere in a viral swing that garnered over $20,000 for humanitarian relief efforts. Speaker, REALTOR, and Fraud Buster Ralph Roberts earned money for Habitat for Humanity on his Macomb County Voice, a community web site with blogs. --Frances Flynn Thorsen
