Social networking for homes
Apparently every home needs a hug, or "hugg" in this case. Incredible Agent has beta launched a new site, HomeHugg.com, a home bookmarking community where users upload listings and comment on them. The company says the site is "100% driven by the Web community. Therefore, HomeHugg does not receive any information from the MLS or pull listings from the Internet." The site ranks homes with "huggs" much the way that Digg ranks news stories with "diggs." The site becomes like a sheet of notebook paper where consumers can save homes they've found from several different sites and return back to when it's time to find them again, compare, etc.
At first glance, this site seems like yet another site for listings, but it's not a listings site at all. It's more of a search and save tool for consumers, so a very new concept.
