Redfin Racks Up More Accolades
By Joel Burslem, Friday, June 1, 2007.
Redfin, the Seattle-based discount broker was named "Startup of the Year" by the Washington State Technology Alliance.
The award caps off an already impressive PR run for the company, who this year has already made Fortune's list of the year's top 24 innovators and was recently profiled by 60 Minutes in a controversial segment on real estate commissions (see What's your take?).
No doubt the company has a good handle on how to generate publicity. For the curious, Redfin CEO Glenn Kelman spills the beans on how they do it in a guest post on DIY PR on Guy Kawasaki's blog.
Also, more from Kelman on accepting the award on the Redfin Corporate Blog.
