Guest Post: Google's New Presentation Tool
By Todd Carpenter, Thursday, September 20, 2007.Bookmarking Sites
Some people are Mac Addicts, others prefer PCs. While I have both, I proclaim allegiance to neither. Instead, I'm a Google head. I love Google. Not just the search engine, but all of the other really cool and free tools that they provide. This week, Google announced their best tool yet: Presentations. Think of it as a mash-up between PowerPoint and WebEx. No longer does one need to sit in a dimly lit conference room to watch your slide show. Presentations are created, and can be viewed on the Web.
I could go on here. But instead, I built a quick presentation online, using the tool itself.

The service is simply amazing. A PDF upload capability has the potential of creating a paperless standard.

One last thing. Hit tip to mytechopinion.com for the heads up that this had finally been released.

Wow! This has huge potential. I have been wanting to do virtual meetings but the cost was so high. Now, all you need to do is use this along with a conference call and you are set. TalkShoe allows free conference calls so you could use them together for a very powerful presentation that costs nothing. And, TalkShoe records the call if you want so you could add the recorded track to the slide show and have it available later for people who missed the live version.
