Real Estate Connect NYC 2008 Keynote and Networking Opportunities
By Inman News, Tuesday, October 16, 2007.
We're excited to announce our keynote speaker for Real Estate Connect NYC 2008; Dr. Michael Shermer. Dr. Shermer is the author of Why People Believe Weird Things and is the Founding Publisher of Skeptic Magazine
and Executive Director of The Skeptic Society. He is a genuine
ghost-buster and a relentless crusader against superstition and
pseudoscience.
In what's sure to be a thought-provoking keynote, Dr. Shermer will discuss the findings in his latest book, The Mind of the Market, where he explains how evolution has shaped the modern economy and why people are so irrational about money. Drawing from the new fields of neuroeconomics and behavioral economics, Shermer will let us in on what brain scans reveal about bargaining, snap purchases, and establishing trust in business.

Connect NYC 2008 is definitely shaping up to be an exciting event. If you haven't done so already, check out the conference site for more on the schedule. And, if you register today, you'll save $150 off the full conference package.
