A bright spot in the cold, dark rain

If you managed to make it through the week without jumping off a cliff from reading all the dark and depressing financial and housing news ---
Infectious Greed today points out a tiny beacon of light in the dark mess of housing news this week: inventories of new and existing homes have turned a corner and are heading down, while affordability is ticking up.
Of course, this turn is likely from houses being taken off the market, which may be coming back. But we'll take whatever positive signs we can get at this point.
