BlueRoof spins off 360 brand

BlueRoof, a Salt Lake City brokerage company with a slick Web site that launched in 2006, has spawned a new company that focuses on Web design, lead management, networking and consulting: BlueRoof360.

Greg Tracy, a real estate industry veteran who founded BlueRoof, is now devoted to this new venture that allows real estate professionals to customize their real estate Web sites using a series of pre-built components.

Tracy told Inman News this week that there are now about 700 agents on the BlueRoof360 system. He said "agents (and brokers) want a better option than templates and don't want to spend tens of thousands of dollars for a custom site."

Among the Web site functions available through the new company: map-based search, instant chat and online video.

Hi Glenn,

Thanks for the write-up. Just to give a more complete picture of the product...

BlueRoof360 is the only technology that exists that allows real estate agents (or anyone else) to build a completely custom website on their own, without knowing any programming skills.

For Realtors, every new technology is available on the platform as it is introduced into the market, including map-based search, RSS, chat, pocasting, blog, video, and most everything else you can put onto a website today.

It's all easily available on the internet's first, and only, self-made custom website for real estate professionals, BlueRoof360.

The platform also includes a complete lead and business management solution (which I believe is the very best in the business) and a community component.

For more information go to http://blueroof360.com/flash_files/main_presentation/presentation_web.ht...

Thanks for noticing,

Greg Tracy

They will probably offer traditional agent services in a menu-driven model, where buyers can choose which level of service they want The real estate business. Just like everyone else, Redfin is adjusting to the industry, not the other way around. They are learning something I learned quite a while ago Real Estate Listingss, having a kick-ass website only gets you the introduction- you still gotta earn the business Real Estate Brokers. And when people invest $700,000 on anything, they want an expert who knows their stuff and who can give the very best advice and share their knowledge, not just someone to fax your documents and schedule your inspection for you.

I love that you guys support the growth of innovative companies. Blue roof looks like an intriguing model to real estate agents that want full control over their web presence.
