Video: 'Every down cycle is the beginning of the next up-cycle'
By Jessica Swesey, Wednesday, April 2, 2008."Every down cycle is the beginning of the next up-cycle," says John Burns at the end of this video his team at John Burns Real Estate Consulting created and shared with us today.
Burns adds a little advice at the end of the video, saying: "If you work as hard as you possibly can through this cycle, you will be most prepared to take advantage of the opportunities that will present themselves once the market improves."
He suggests focusing on the "Six P's of research": People, Product, Payment/Price, Positioning, Promotion, and the right Person for sales.

I thought this was a very informative and positive piece on the housing market. I feel as though it is going to get a little worse before the market begins to turn. It is very scary for the people who purchased their homes in the "good" days and now need to resale. Currently, I live in the Southeast. There are many houses for sale at that "reduced" price.
I recently read an article on a group of professionals that loaded a up a group of investors in a bus and took them around the city to see house that were under foreclosure. I thought that was an interesting and creative way to promote investments. Let's just hope they were knowledgeable.
