The latest 2008 forecast for median resale home prices is down 4 percent from a 2.4 percent decline anticipated in the Realtor group's previous forecast report, released last month.

Alot depends on what happen on the jobs and energy front. Home sales are not in a vaccuuum. Some areas are going to just take longer than others. People are changing their habits as to what they want and where they will buy.

It seems that uncertainty is the name of the game unfortunately. Hopefully we'll begin to gain some clarity after the election and after we see where the economy and fuel prices start to settle.
