Referral place for engaged agents abd brokers

This group is intended to form a basis from which Realtors and Brokers can refer clients to other engaged agents and brokers form areas outside their active zones of influence.

Qualification for membership is that you are an active agent and or broker and that you agree to provide referral fee for all leads submitted through other members of the group.

In this day and age personal relationships with our clients will more than ever determine how our business grows and survives in the future. Having a like minded group of talented agents and brokers engaged enough in their business and their client’s interests to take time to search out other like minded, relationship driven individuals in more vital for our respective survival than all the social networking sites we can join.

If you have clients who you value and who occasionally have the need to work wit agents in other areas of the country or the world than I would encourage you to join this group and from within we can build a comprehensive network of individuals that we know will take care of our clients no matter where they may have interests.

Happy NEw Year 2009 - OOPS guess this is where I should have started this discussion.

Good morning all and Happy New Year.

Well I for one would like to hear about your individual markets. Maybe this is a good forum to discuss what is happening in your markets.

In the Austin, TX MKT we saw a slow down in activity in Dec but there seems to be a noticeable difference in the last week in buyer activity and interest in most price ranges. We have enjoyed a healthy job market here but there is evidence that we are starting to see a slow down in that vital area so I am sure there is a direct correlation.  more...

Fed assesment of economy

For those of you who may have not seen the brilliant statement from the federal reserve today: I know i sent this this same information in Jan 2008 in an unsolicited e-mail to the Frderal Reserve. Obviously they dod not have the time to read it back then.

State of affairs

Good afternoon everyone.

Hope you are all well and finding opportunities in the crazy market conditions we are all facing.

I am sure all of our respective markets are experiencing different levels of activity and change. Here is Austin we feel somewhat fortunate that we remain active in selling and buying at most price levels.

Our most effective market in Jumbos as we did not see a bump in the rates in our area and our buyer pool was probably 70% reduced from one year ago. (The 500,000-$1 million market).  more...
