Improving housing value through charitable running
Posted in Real Estate Bloggers By Gahlord Dewald | Thoughtfaucet, Wednesday, August 19, 2009.I'm running a charitable 5k race in about a week. The charity gives funds to families with children in wheelchairs to build ramps and so on to make their homes better. Since I'm a real estate technology partner (aka evil vendor) I figure it's a good way for me to do something direct for people and for the housing market. Even if it seems small in the grand scheme of things, it isn't small for the homeowners though!.
I'd be grateful if you'd consider sponsoring me. Ever said to yourself "Man, that Gahlord is a great guy, I'd like to give him ten or twenty bucks!" Well now's your chance, and it's a tax write-off to boot. Here are the details: http://bit.ly/E45OX
Another way you could help is by helping to spread the word (probably not a tax write-off, please speak with your accountant). For example, you might fire up your favorite Twitter client or Facebook and post something like:
Help @gahlord raise money to improve housing values by making houses wheelchair accessible for kids: http://bit.ly/E45OX Please RT!
Thanks!
