Social Media sites are also an excellent way to obtain one-way-links, traffic and attract attention to your websites content.

I've joined mainly Social Media sites to assist our San Antonio real estate and Houston real estate websites to gain traction. This technic has worked very well!!

I would add Puurple.com to the list and ActiveRain. Puurple is a news submission site like Propeller or Digg, but is restricted to real estate only. ActiveRain is a social networking site that will give you a free blog.

ActiveRain.com is one of the first sites I tell my clients to sign up with. Google loves AR, especially the outside blogs and localism. The members are extremly helpful and fun!
