Howard: These forums and blog conversations aren't meant to replace formal comments to HUD. I am delaying my comment submission to HUD while thrashing out issues in forums such as this. I believe the give and take will help uncover issues. The RESPA proposal is huge and I can use all the help I can get to think it through. I like a good blogosphere debate. ;)

Mr. Lax is correct in that if you want HUD to consider any of the issues you have with the proposed rule changes, you must submit your comments to them by May 13.
That's why I'd included the Web site for submitting comments to HUD in the links page when this forum was created.
