Can someone tell me...

why for the love of all that is holy, that agents are starting to use HDR for houses that are, to put it plainly and simply, cookie cutter??? Yeah, HDR is cool. Sure it can be fun to muck around with photoshop and get a sort of gothic wonderland shot, but as the main shots for the interior of a 200k house? (average home price in the Austin area). Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. I think HDR shots should be saved for artists and not distract from showing the buyer the house. Of course, I could be wrong; I know at least one agent who disagrees with me.

What do you think?

I am with you Joe, does not make sense. It is what it is. I would think someone would be disappointed to pull up and see that it looks nothing like the picture. Not being prepared for reality would cause them to flee.
