I have been in Online Marketing for years with an emphasis on Social Media (and a real estate background).
Here's my thoughts:
1. A website is a marketing tool to expose properties to potential buyers/sellers. The problem is, a stand alone Realtor website or Broker Site is NOT what the potential buyer wants or what a potential seller sees as valuable to selling their property.
The Internet has put the Consumer in control and the Consumer wants to go to ONE site and search all properties available. Period. And he/she does not want to "sign" in to search for those properties.
The Seller wants to know how the Realtor is going to "market" the property..especially Online since most potential buyers are Online now.
2. A stand alone Realtor site does not and never will generate enough traffic/potential buyers without a large amount of costs towards SEO/SEM and other traffic generating services. A Realtor will spend all of their time on generating traffic to the site...and less time in actually selling homes.
It doesn't matter how pretty or how good your website is...if no one is visiting it, it's worthless.
So, how do you expose your properties and yourself to the 87% of people who start their real estate search online?
I suggest you find a comprehensive Online Marketing program that has been created by experts in Online Marketing/Social Media instead of trying to do everything yourself.

3. Upload an unlimited number of property Videos. If you already have a video of your property, feel free to post it. If you don't have a video, you can take the property photos and put them into a video format very easily through www.RealEstateShows.com.
As a marketer, I recommend you hire a professional videographer (we provide experienced videographers who create your personalized video for $450...much cheaper than a print ad) and have him/her film YOU, the AGENT, giving a tour of the your properties. That way, you are selling yourself and you can point out the unique features of the home that can't be done with pictures.
NOTE: 73% of buyers say that they would be more willing to list with an agent who offered to shoot a video. So, by doing this, you will win more listings in the future.
And again, the potential buyer would much prefer to see a video of a home where he/she can get a "feel" for the flow of the home...rather than just pictures.
3. Use the Social Media sharing tools to send your Agent Profile (to be used as your website) to potential buyers. You can also send each property video to potential buyers with one click of a button, or post it to Facebook, or Twitter, or to your Blog, website. Using these videos as a Marketing Tool allows you to reach more potential buyers (unlike a print ad).
4. 2media will offer free weekly online classes to teach Agents how to take advantage of social media/online marketing to win more listings and sell more properties. We will provide listings presentations that work (see quote from Beverly Hills Agent below, assistance in email marketing etc. There is so much talk about that fact that Agents need to use social media...but no one is really TEACHING Agents how to apply this technology to do their job.
These weekly classes will be presented by industry experts in online/social media marketing who have the ability to apply these tools to the real estate market. We will present these tools in an easy-to-understand manner so that Agents can feel confident about using Online Marketing to build their business. We are here to help Agents become better marketers.
5. The best part, 2media acts as your very own Marketing Agency. Our goal is to drive the AFFLUENT BUYER to the site to expose your listings to the largest audience online.
Our PR & Marketing program is centered around the fact that when a property is purchased DIRECTLY through the Agent (no buyer's agent), the Listing Agent agrees to donate 1% of the property sales price to the Habitat for Humanity Affiliate where the home resides. For the Luxury MarketFor the Luxury Market (properties over $1M), www.LuxuryRealEstate4Charity.com offers not only Video, but social media sharing tools (send video to potential buyers, post to Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, Websites etc.).
