Grew up on a Maine potato farm, worked in broadcasting thru high school, college at stations owned by Howdy Doody (Buffalo Bob) and Bangor Maine writer Stephen King. Became a Maine real estate broker in 1980 and have listed, marketed, sold Maine homes, land, farms, waterfront and business properties ever since.

    Inflation must be hitting the impact value, percentage on audio that I always say is 40% of the real estate video experience. Audio in radio days was all you had and your imagination behind your eyeballs, between your ears did a good job of creating the "picture. Overdubs in a sound studio with egg crate, carpeted or acoustic foam walls are all well and good. And processing the sound with EQ, compression to color it and sound professional peachy keen. But raw, honest and from the property, not scripted narration causes engagement. The real estate buyer can related when the script is replaced with the conversational approach to work better at the connection. Audio from the property, with the sound not from a closet, sound booth but from the living room with the ticking grandfather's clock, the wind chime on the deck, the sound of the waterfront in the background to build, excite and deliver the buyer TO THE PROPERTY. Bingo. Coupled, tag teamed with 30 to 60 frames per second video of life breathed in to whatever you shoot, edit, render, upload. Sign up for more of that.     Why the need for McMansions if 1.6 or empty nest families. With parents tucked away in assisted living, nursing homes? Ego? Esteem and prestige are hollow sports played in boxed canyons.     This just in. The side effect of using real full motion real estate videos, with natural sound from the property or local community event. More sales, trips to the real estate closing conference room for agents, brokers. The real estate buyer sees, gets in to a slew of "open houses". Leaving their shoes on from the comfort of their current living room, airport gate, where ever. Seeing, hearing about more properties, listings and making a way way better informed real estate purchase. Videos for real estate, still just saying "someday"? Whoa.
