I'm not at all surprised. VOW was a knee jerk reaction to a problem Realtors had with discount brokerages and third party intermediaries. It was NOT a way to service the public better. Prior to Real-Estate, I was an HP and IBMer that solved web technology issues like this. So you can imagine what I have been going through. I'm a little tiny office and just don't have the resources to do it myself. Actually, I did try and take it on about three years ago. I hired a web development firm and paid them over $30,000 to start building it. They ended up stealing my code and now offer it as a broker/agent solution here in the Raleigh area. So I have given up. It can be done. It is not rocket science. It will take some imagination and a little money. But the end result could be fantastic. Kris, Thanks for sharing. I think your right, but only the market will tell if consumers really do move to the new market in numbers large enough to effect real permanent change. The Change We Need.
