Welcome!

As an REO listing agent who also represents buyers, I can tell you it can be a frustrating experience. The best thing an agent can do is set expectations ahead of time with your buyer as to what the process is. I like to sit down with the buyer's agent and client, if possible, when they are purchasing one of my REO listings just so they know what to expect and don't get frustrated and cancel half way through the process. I am fortunate, the asset management company I work with is pretty good. As a buyer's agent, I have had some horrible experiences with REO agents - offers not being submitted, no responses back from them, not publishing the combo codes to view the house with your client... the list goes on. As for the houses themselves - some of them are great buys others I find it may be better to purchase a traditional purchase. One that needs no work done to it and you can move right in. I find most people are so set on a foreclosure they overlook the great values in the tradtional sale. Those can be the best after all is said and done! Happy Holidays! Becky Jones Broker Assoc.
