Brett Shaw from Cyberhomes: New look, same Realtor.com. I just looked up my home on "what is your home worth" and it came back with a range of $133,000 to $410,970. Whew! I'm glad I got that narrowed down. Cyberhomes.com, on the other hand, has my home estimated at a good price. By that I mean that it is near what homes have sold for recently in my neighborhood (in the last 6 months........not 18). On top of that, there is a ton of local information that goes along with it.

Brett Shaw from Cyberhomes: It's always interesting to see this report come out. It is not surprising to see realtor.com losing a little ground. There are just so many other sites out there, like Cyberhomes.com, that provide more useful information to go along with their listings. Coldwell Banker just began to provide other listings on their site. Previously, you could only search for homes listed nationally by CB. Even then there were certain requirements to have the home appear on the site. Now that they've entered the game, they're moving up.

Brett Shaw from Cyberhomes: Cyberhomes.com is another real estate site that offers free listings. Branding is free also in that the agent's name and contact information are along with the listing. They are a media company and make their money by selling advertising space on the site. We not only partner with real estate franchisors and brokers, but also with most MLSs. Therefore, we have greater coverage of the U.S. market. We are owned by Fidelity National Financial so therefore have more content from within the FNF family to aggregate our data.
