Having graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with an Information Sciences and Technology degree, I am interested in expanding my professional opportunities in the area of Internet Marketing. I have gained work experience in both Internet and traditional marketing fields and I am extremely interested in the Jr. Internet Marketing Specialist position at WebpageFX, Inc.
During my enrollment at Penn State, my coursework included IT project management, system analysis, and a variety of Internet programming languages. University projects allowed me to take lead roles on several real-world projects for local organizations, in which I successfully completed and maintained a 3.58 major GPA. My internship experience at Oakworks included designing and developing Intranet web pages and electronic forms using tools such as Dreamweaver and CS3. I was also responsible for automating Excel spreadsheet reports for multiple departments.
Currently I am working as an Internet Marketing Specialist for Affinigent in York, PA. My job responsibilities include creating marketing plans, monthly web activity reports, and developing search engine optimization strategies. I have collected experience creating advertising campaigns using Google Adwords and have become very familiar with the functionality of Google Analytics. I have also gained experience in the traditional marketing field with Marketing Works, trg of York, PA.
I have gained valuable customer service experience while working part-time for JCPenney’s for three years. I have achieved a certification in Microsoft Project 2007 and plan to add more certifications in the near future. As noted on my resume, I believe my academic and professional work experience meet your expectations.
