I was born and raised in France by my parents, both teachers in high school and community colleges in Orange and Nimes/Avignon and I have lived in the Berkeley area since 1994. I speak French, Italian and English fluently.

I have a sister in France who is a teacher (French and Italian) and a brother-in-law who is a teacher of economics. I also have many aunts and uncles and cousins in France, all in Provence.

My hobbies include spending time with my husband Sam and my daughters Elise and Audrey (see pictures in my family album), traveling, skiing and heli skiing, meditating.

I am planning on resuming my pottery class once my girls are older and easier to handle at night!!

I was the president of the Board of Directors of BAARC (Bay Area Animal Rescue Coalition) and a volunteer at the Berkeley Animal Shelter. I was the host of the TV show "Great Pets" on Channel 25 in Berkeley.

I previously taught at Bryn Mawr College and also published a book about World Affairs organizations in Northern California with the organization World Without War Council.

It is my dream to buy a castle in the South of France where I grew up and travel around the world to new places. The coat of arms featured above is that of my hometown, Brignoles VAR and in memory of my dear grandmother who spoke Provencal and French.
