I completely agree with this post. It takes a long time for people to recognize that an agent or broker is someone they can trust. Blogging, atteding events, letting people learn about your experience and knowledge through your blog posts is very helpful.
Great article about how to expand a broker's business, but I agree that short sales and bank owned properties are not hard, but entails education of not only the real estate agents, but the client as well. Who really benefits from the short sale? In the ideal case both the owner and the bank. When both parties agree, it makes an easy sale. If someone needs to sell, and they owe more than their mortgage, there is not really a choice, but now that the market is turning, interest rates are rising, and vacancies are rising, it may be good advice to those whose properties are under water, but like their homes, and who have bad credit is to staty put and try to work with their bank to keep their homes.
This may be true. As the homes that are now being sold, will put money in the pockets, or at least take debt of the table of the people who sold, thus the chain of people buying when they want, not waiting until the prices fall more, etc. danielbretzke.com
