Deborah began her career in real estate 30 years ago as a residential agent in West Virginia. After an extensive and diverse career in business, she returned to real estate 5 years ago. Her prior business experience, which includes founding two clothing stores, a construction project manager and lobbying on Capitol Hill, has allowed Deborah a unique perspective into the commercial real estate landscape. Deborah reentered real estate 5 years ago with McEnearney Associates, Inc. in McLean, VA, working in Washington, DC and Virginia. She joined Keller Williams in 2007, and joined Keller Williams Commercial in early 2009.
In 1995, Deborah returned to college as a non-traditional adult student, focusing on Political Science and graduated from West Virginia University (WVU) in 1997 with a Regents Bachelor of Arts (RBA) and a Certificate in Women’s Studies. While at WVU, her internships included: The Feminist Majority where she lobbied on Welfare to Work issues; the Alexandria Office on Women completing concurrent internships at the Domestic Violence Program and the Sexual Assault Response and Response and Awareness (SARA) Program and, two consecutive internships at the headquarters of the 1996 Clinton/Gore Re-election Campaign where she worked exclusively with Fortune 500 Women Executives in Business Outreach.
