A full-time residential REALTOR since 1991, I love helping people relocating to the Mooresville and Lake Norman area. My husband and I fell in love and moved to Mooresville along the shores of Lake Norman from Southern California in 2005. Now I am spreading the word about how wonderful the quality of life is here! I recently started my own real estate firm: LKN Realty, LLC with a goal to better service my buyers and sellers by providing the highest level of ethical standards (no dual agency),creative marketing and developing niche areas of expertise like green housing.

    Diane Aurit Realtors are going to play a critical role in this "green" movement as we must educate our clients about "green" or "high performance" homes. The builders in my Lake Norman area are working hard to incorporate energy efficiency and other "green" building elements into their new homes but it is essential that Realtors understand these homes in order to sell them. We need to have resources available from Energy Auditors to links to websites where our buyers and sellers can go to get answers. Personally, I am an EcoBroker, and a Certified Green Profession (a National Home Builders Association program) and I am very involved with our builders who are focused on building "green" homes. We Realtors are in the middle serving as the conduit of information from the builders to the public which is a a critical component to spreading the "green" movement!

I couldn't agree more with you regarding professioal photos for listings. I use a professional for all of my listings no matter what the price range.
