I have been an agent since 1991 selling homes in the Northern Virginia suburbs just outside Washington D.C. Starting out in Vienna, where I still live, at Town and Country Properties and then I moved over to RE/MAX Presidential in 1994. Having done this long enough, I am a member of the NVAR Life Top producer and Million Dollar Clubs, and the RE/MAX International Hall of Fame.

I have lived in Vienna for the past 15 years, but have also lived in McLean and Oakton so I know the routines of living in those areas plus some insight for my clients on commuting, restaurants, cool movie theaters and other things people want to know when they move to an area. About 25% of my clients every year come from other parts of the country... or overseas.

So I can also help clients meet a new guy to service the furnace, or a dog walker, or a good place to buy pizza. The essentials!

    I have had two buyers clients in the last 24 hours say they need to pull back the reins due to potential job security issues. Until people like these have confidence in the future, they are going to save their pennies instead of spending them, and the economic numbers will stall in the fall.     You are observing the evolution of a cultural phenomenon as the masses latch-on and taint your early-entry experience, like when everyone hopped on the disco bandwagon. Tomorrow I will be at my first RE BarCamp (VABeach) and I don't know what to expect? The list of sponsors seems to grow every minute, but I am going and plan to contribute... and not how to accumulate phantom friends on FB or Twitter!
