Wow. I knew prices were going down in Sacramento but your article says that the price per square foot dropped 31.9% within the month of September--that's amazing. "the price per square foot fell 31.9 percent from September 2007 to September 2007"
I don't think that the loans WAMU offered were the problem insomuch as the fact that WAMU qualifed borrowers at the neg am payment level. When these loans adjusted there was no way bowwowers could afford the higher payment.
We would appreciate it if our local MLS would have a better web site than all the mash-ups that are re-distributing the data full of errors and with old information. The thought of driving more buyers to our MLS site doesn’t bother me in the least. Buyers want the information and they are going to get it—somewhere. Christine
